TaikoArts Midwest grant appropriation

This bill appropriates $2 million from the general fund for a one-time grant to TaikoArts Midwest, a St. Paul-based nonprofit arts organization. The funds will be used to acquire, renovate, equip, and furnish property at 449 Front Avenue in St. Paul. The grant will provide TaikoArts Midwest with a permanent home and create a multipurpose community event space. The appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned.
