FATHER Project grant appropriation

This bill appropriates $1 million for fiscal year 2026 and $1 million for fiscal year 2027 from the general fund to fund the FATHER Project through Goodwill Easter Seals Minnesota. It directly supports fathers in Rochester, St. Cloud, St. Paul, Minneapolis, and surrounding areas who face barriers to economically and emotionally supporting their children, including those reentering communities after confinement. The grant requires the program to continue its existing services to help these fathers overcome specific challenges.
