SF 4436 Minnesota Senate · 2025-2026 Regular Session

Permit lessor employees to participate in pull-tab games when off duty

This bill allows employees of gambling venue owners to play pull-tab games at their workplace when they are not working. It amends Minnesota law to create an exception to existing rules that currently prohibit employees involved in running gambling games from participating as players at the same location. The change specifically permits off-duty employees to play pull-tab games, while maintaining restrictions on other types of gambling activities during work hours or for employees still on duty. This provision does not affect other forms of gambling participation or employees working during their scheduled shifts.
