City of Minneapolis skate park appropriation and bond issuance authorization

This bill authorizes the state to issue up to $2,000,000 in bonds to fund a new skate park in Windom Northeast Park in Minneapolis. The funds would be provided through a grant from the commissioner of employment and economic development to the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board for designing and constructing the facility. The legislation directs the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue the state bonds in accordance with existing Minnesota statutes and the state constitution. This measure would become effective the day after final enactment by the legislature.
