Loretto water and sewer infrastructure improvements bond issue and appropriation

This bill authorizes the state of Minnesota to issue up to $2.7 million in bonds to fund water and sewer infrastructure improvements in the city of Loretto. The appropriated funds will be used to design, engineer, and construct replacements for water mains, water valves, sanitary sewer systems, and stormwater systems, including associated street reconstruction. The commissioner of management and budget is directed to sell and issue state bonds to provide the necessary financing for this project. The legislation becomes effective the day after final enactment.
