University of Minnesota Medical School request to prohibit curriculum control by for-profit entities

SF 3707 requests the University of Minnesota Medical School and its Board of Regents to prohibit for-profit entities from developing, managing, or controlling the medical school's curriculum. It does not prevent individual faculty members from teaching at the school while employed by for-profit companies. The bill also requires the university to submit annual reports (by February 15 of odd-numbered years) detailing how for-profit funds are used to pay teaching faculty salaries, support courses, or fund medical school initiatives.
