Thief River Falls Airport runway extension and capital improvements funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

This bill authorizes the issuance of state bonds to raise up to $10.3 million for capital improvements at the Thief River Falls Regional Airport. The funds will be used to acquire land, extend and relocate the airport runway, upgrade taxiways, and update navigation systems. Additionally, the project includes reconstructing a portion of County State-Aid Highway 17 to support the airport expansion. The money will come from the bond proceeds fund and is managed by the state commissioner of transportation for the airport authority.
