This bill allocates $2.5 million from the state's general fund to support the development of the Swank Eatery in North Minneapolis. The money will be provided as a grant to Wilson's Image Holding LLC to renovate an existing commercial building on West Broadway into a food hall featuring a brewery, taproom, restaurants, and dining areas. Funds cover construction, furnishing, environmental cleanup, demolition, and other improvements needed to make the space safe and functional. The appropriation becomes effective the day after the bill is enacted and remains available until the project is finished or abandoned.
