Pope-Douglas Solid Waste Management materials recovery facility funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

This bill authorizes the state to issue up to $1.9 million in bonds to fund improvements at the Pope-Douglas Solid Waste Management materials recovery facility. The funds will be used by the joint powers board to purchase and install capital equipment and other infrastructure upgrades for recycling operations. This financial support is intended to supplement previous grants provided in 2020 and 2023 for the same facility. The legislation takes effect immediately upon final passage by the legislature.
