Natural resources: inland lakes; structure or fill on inland lake or stream bottomlands; authorize DEGLE to issue emergency order concerning. Amends 1994 PA 451 (MCL 324.101 - 324.90106) by adding sec. 30111d.

The provision authorizes the department to demand immediate repairs or removal of such structures to prevent harm to public health, safety, property, or natural resources, and permits the department to perform these actions and recover costs if the owner fails to comply. While the department can modify or terminate these orders once the emergency is resolved, the law requires a hearing within 15 days to review the order's necessity, and it specifically excludes violations related to residential property.
