Children: child care; immunization for day care providers; require. Amends 1973 PA 116 (MCL 722.111 - 722.128) by adding sec. 3m.

This bill requires all staff members working in child care centers, group homes, and family homes to receive specific vaccinations approved by the state health department. To comply, employees must obtain proof of their immunizations from a qualified health professional and submit that documentation to both their employer and the Department of Health and Human Services. The law applies to every individual employed in these facilities and takes effect 90 days after it is signed into law.
