An Act improving oversight and operations of the Steamship Authority

This bill amends term limits for members of the Steamship Authority Board. It prohibits any board member from serving more than three full terms, replacing the previous gender-specific language ("his") with neutral wording ("the"). The bill also includes a special provision allowing current board members who have already served three full terms to complete their current term and serve one additional term after it ends. These changes apply to all future appointments and current members serving as of the bill's effective date.
