An Act relative to human trafficking awareness

SD 260 requires Massachusetts state highway and transit facilities to display multilingual warning signs about human trafficking. The signs must include a specific notice stating forced labor is illegal under state law, provide the National Human Trafficking Hotline number (1-888-373-7888), and feature English covering at least half the sign. They must be displayed prominently in all public-facing areas of state transportation facilities (including restrooms) and vehicles, in English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Portuguese, and any other languages recommended by the Office of Planning and Programming. The Office must consult annually with the Attorney General about adding additional languages to the signs.
