Resolve establishing a commission to consider the inclusion of nuclear energy in Massachusetts future energy planning

This bill establishes a 15-member commission to study whether nuclear energy should be included in Massachusetts' future energy planning. The commission will examine nuclear power's benefits, challenges, economics, and comparisons to other energy sources in terms of reliability and environmental impact. It must submit a final report with recommendations to the legislature by December 1, 2026. The commission includes members appointed by legislative leaders, state environmental and energy officials, academic experts, labor representatives, and diverse energy advocacy groups.
