An Act amending the home rule charter of the town of Falmouth to create the Falmouth Licensing Commission

This bill amends the town charter of Falmouth to establish a new Falmouth Licensing Commission. The commission will consist of five appointed members who will have the authority to issue licenses for alcohol, entertainment, and lodging businesses. It grants the body power to create regulations, set conditions, and enforce laws related to these licensed activities. The Select Board may also assign additional licensing powers to the commission through future bylaws, and the changes will take effect on January 1, 2027.
