An Act establishing an Office of Economic Empowerment

HD 467 establishes a new Office of Economic Empowerment within the state treasurer's office. The office will develop and implement equity-focused programs, policies, and partnerships to improve economic mobility and financial independence for all residents of the Commonwealth. It is led by an executive director appointed by the treasurer, who will manage staff and operations within budget constraints set by the legislature.
