An Act relative to the open meeting law

This bill amends the open meeting law by removing the phrase "the general court or the committees or recess commissions thereof" from the definition of "Public Body." As a result, legislative sessions and committee meetings of the Massachusetts General Court will no longer be subject to the open meeting requirements under Chapter 30A. The change specifically affects the legislature's own proceedings, clarifying they are not covered by the public meeting rules. This is a procedural adjustment to the law's scope.
