An Act relative to human trafficking awareness

This bill requires Massachusetts state highway and transit facilities (including restrooms) to display multilingual warning signs about human trafficking. The signs must include a clear notice stating that forced labor is illegal and provide the National Human Trafficking Hotline number (1-888-373-7888), with English covering at least half the sign. The Office of Planning and Programming must provide signs in English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Portuguese, and consult annually with the Attorney General about adding additional languages. The requirement applies to all publicly accessible state facilities and vehicles, aiming to make trafficking victims aware of support resources.
