An Act authorizing the town of Ashland to grant 10 additional licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises

This bill authorizes the town of Ashland to issue ten new licenses for establishments to sell alcohol for on-site consumption. The licenses are specifically designated for three development zones: three for the Downtown area, three for the Route 126 area, and four for the MBTA Zone. To qualify, businesses must operate within these designated districts and maintain good standing with state tax and unemployment departments. The town retains the power to set conditions for these licenses and can transfer them only within the original zoned areas. All new licenses must be issued within five years of the bill's effective date.
