An Act authorizing the commissioner of capital asset management and maintenance to convey a certain parcel of land in the town of Wellesley

This bill authorizes the commissioner of capital asset management to transfer a 3,500-square-foot parcel of land (currently used for Massachusetts Bay Community College purposes in Wellesley) to Kimberlee A. Dow or her successors. The transfer requires an independent appraisal of the land's value, approval by the inspector general, and payment of the full fair market value by Dow. Proceeds from the sale will fund the MBCC Oakland Circle Scholarship Trust, administered by the college president for student scholarships. The bill also specifies that Dow covers all transaction costs, including appraisals and deed preparation.
