An Act to hold property owners accountable for recurring public nuisance

This bill targets property owners with repeated public safety complaints. If a location receives 10 or more police calls about public nuisance issues (like disorderly conduct or illegal activity) within one year, the owner must cover future police response costs and related municipal expenses for that property. Funds collected from owners under this law return directly to the municipality. Enforcement discretion rests with the local chief of police or municipal authority.
