An Act relative to probation violations

This bill modifies how courts handle probation violations for individuals sentenced to the state prison or house of correction. It allows judges to choose between enforcing the entire suspended sentence or revoking only part of it while keeping the remainder suspended, with the time already served on revocation reducing the balance. Additionally, if a partial sentence is imposed, the court may adjust the original probation conditions. These changes give judges more flexibility in determining punishment when a person breaks their probation terms.
