An Act relative to the automatic renewal of professional licenses
This bill directs the Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure to create a system that automatically renews professional licenses without requiring separate applications. The new system would notify license holders of upcoming expiration dates and allow them to renew their credentials online whenever possible. It applies to all professional licenses currently governed by Chapter 112 of the general laws. The changes would take effect immediately once the legislation is passed.
