An Act to facilitate labor peace among the cannabis workforce

This bill requires cannabis businesses in Massachusetts to sign a "labor peace agreement" with unions before they can obtain or renew their operating licenses. The agreement ensures that employers do not interfere with workers' rights to form unions while simultaneously preventing unions from engaging in picketing, strikes, or boycotts against the business. To prove compliance, both the cannabis company and the labor organization must submit a signed attestation confirming the agreement is in place during the initial application and renewal processes. If a business fails to provide this documentation or violates the terms of the agreement, the state may deny or revoke their license.
