An Act providing for diaper changing stations in public buildings and accommodations

This bill requires public buildings and places of public accommodation with restrooms to install and maintain at least one private or semi-private diaper changing station. The stations must be accessible to any caregiver regardless of their sex, gender, or disability, and clear signage must be posted to indicate their location. The law applies to all public buildings and public accommodations built after the effective date, as well as existing facilities undergoing substantial renovation, but excludes venues restricted to individuals aged 13 and older. Implementation must comply with existing state and federal laws regarding disability access, fire safety, and health standards.
