An Act relative to wastewater in the town of Provincetown

This bill authorizes the town of Provincetown to use the Manuel V. Motta Athletic Fields for wastewater treatment and disposal. It allows the installation of subsurface disposal beds on the land, which is currently designated for playground and recreational purposes. The legislation overrides existing legal restrictions and deed limitations to permit this temporary use. However, the act requires that once the wastewater facilities are installed, the fields must be restored and permanently returned to their original recreational use.
