An Act authorizing the continued employment of Steven A. Hilliger, firefighter of the town of Lancaster

This bill allows Steven A. Hilliger, a firefighter in Lancaster, to continue working until he turns 70 or retires, whichever comes first, provided he remains mentally and physically fit for duty. To ensure his fitness, the town's Select Board can require him to undergo a medical examination at their own expense. Additionally, the bill prevents any further deductions from his pay after he turns 65 and ensures he receives a retirement benefit equal to what he would have gotten had he retired at 65.
