H 4990 Massachusetts House · 193rd Legislature (2023-2024)

An Act authorizing the town of Sherborn to grant 1 additional license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages not to be drunk on the premises

This law authorizes the town of Sherborn to issue one extra permit for a specific business, Art's Specialties, LLC, to sell alcohol for off-premises consumption. The new permit allows the business to operate at its current location but cannot be transferred to a different address. If the business stops using the permit or fails to renew it, the town can issue a similar permit to another applicant at the same spot after three years. The town must also return the business's existing wine and malt beverage permit once this new license is active.
