H 4951 Massachusetts House · 193rd Legislature (2023-2024)

An Act authorizing Dante Perella to take the civil service examination for the position of police officer in the city of Haverhill notwithstanding the maximum age requirement

This bill allows Dante Perella to take the police officer civil service examination in Haverhill despite the standard maximum age limit for applicants. It specifically exempts him from the age requirement while maintaining that he must still meet all other qualifications for the position. If he passes the exam and satisfies the remaining criteria, he will be eligible for certification and appointment to the Haverhill police department. The law takes effect immediately upon passage.
