To ensure fairness and data security, the law mandates that any recorded footage not resulting in a violation must be deleted within 30 days, and all footage is the property of the municipality rather than the technology vendor. Additionally, the bill requires that payments for these systems be based on the equipment's value and maintenance costs, not on the revenue generated from issuing citations.
