An Act relative to veteran disability benefits

This bill increases the annual state disability benefit for Massachusetts veterans from $2,000 to $5,000. The additional funds are specifically designated for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder, Persian Gulf illness, or injuries linked to contaminated water at Camp Lejeune who have a disability rating of 80 percent or higher from the Veterans' Administration.
