An Act to permit enhanced public access to deliberations of public bodies and to permit improved efficiency of public bodies

It defines these online exchanges as "Public Internet Discussions" where members can talk about official business, and the public can watch the conversation but cannot vote or force a quorum. The legislation requires that these online sessions be open to public monitoring and mandates that notices for both in-person meetings and online discussions be posted at least 48 hours in advance. Additionally, the bill clarifies that all official deliberations must occur either at a physical meeting, during an approved online discussion, or at specific gatherings that already have public access exceptions.
