An Act relative to snow removal fines

This bill allows Massachusetts towns to issue fines for snow removal violations on sidewalks next to privately owned properties near state highways and parkways. It authorizes local municipalities to enforce these penalties, provided the fines are shared with the state departments of transportation and conservation and recreation through a formal agreement. The law applies only if the town's snow rules do not conflict with existing state regulations.
