Workgroup on the Creation of a Data Dashboard for Public Work Contracts and Apprentices - Establishment

Established a new Workgroup on the Creation of a Data Dashboard for Public Work Contracts and Apprentices with specific membership requirements including Senate members, House members, Secretary of Labor, Commissioner of Labor and Industry, and representatives from various labor organizations and contractor associations.

Required the Workgroup to adopt a code of conduct at its first meeting occurring on or after July 1, 2025.

Changed the purpose statement to include establishing the Workgroup and its mandate to study the most efficient and cost-effective method to create a publicly available data dashboard that disaggregates information regarding public work contracts and apprentices.

Added specific requirements for the Workgroup to study and make recommendations regarding dashboard location, associated costs, development and implementation timeframes, and update frequency.

Added requirement for the Commissioner to provide staff for the Workgroup.

Added provisions that Workgroup members cannot receive compensation but are entitled to reimbursement for travel expenses under Standard State Travel Regulations.

Added requirement for the Workgroup to report findings and recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly on or before January 7, 2027.
