Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration Waiver Advisory Council - Establishment

The number of voting members with lived experience was increased from 18 to 21 individuals, expanding representation across advocacy groups and service delivery models.

New voting members were added including a Financial Management and Counseling Services Provider, an Ethnic Advocacy Group Representative, a Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities Representative, a Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council Representative, a Self-Directed Advocacy Network Representative, Parents' Place of Maryland Representative, Maryland Association of Community Services Representative, ARC Maryland Representative, Maryland Council of Support Brokers Representative, and Service Coordination, Inc. Representative.

Removed the specific requirement for three family members with self-directed services experience and one family member with traditional services experience from the voting membership.

Added new non-voting members including representatives from additional state departments and organizations such as the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services and Applied Self-Direction.
