Task Force to Study Fiduciary Adjudication in Maryland

Added a new requirement that orphans' courts, circuit courts, registers of wills, and the Administrative Office of the Courts must comply with all reasonable requests from the Task Force for information and data needed for its work.

Changed the composition of the Task Force to require two registers of wills designated by the president of the Maryland Register of Wills Association, instead of just one chair of the association.

Modified the criteria for Maryland State Bar Association members to require that at least one member be a fiduciary litigator and the other be a resident of a jurisdiction with a population of less than 250,000.

Added a committee report status indicating the bill was favorably amended and adopted by the House, along with a second reading date of February 25, 2025.
