Anne Arundel County - Sheriff - Salary

This bill establishes a new salary structure for the Sheriff of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, effective October 1, 2024. Under the new plan, the Sheriff will receive a fixed annual salary of $133,000 through the end of 2024. Starting in 2025, the Sheriff's pay will be tied to the compensation of a Captain at step 20 within the Anne Arundel County Police Department pay scale.
