Frederick County - Alcoholic Beverages - Weinberg Center/New Spires Arts Stages Beer, Wine, and Liquor License

This bill updates the alcoholic beverage license for the Weinberg Center and New Spires Arts Stages in Frederick County to officially include both locations under a single Class C license. It expands the authority to sign license applications to include the managers of these venues or a municipal official designated by the mayor, rather than limiting it to the center's president. The legislation also allows the license holder to sell alcohol at events hosted by outside groups that rent either facility, in addition to performances and fundraisers benefiting the arts centers. Finally, it authorizes the consumption of beer, wine, and liquor anywhere on the licensed premises during these authorized events.
