An Act To Amend The Composition Of The Landowners And Land Users Relations Advisory Board

This bill restructures the Landowners and Land Users Relations Advisory Board in Maine by increasing its total membership from 18 to 23 individuals. It expands the number of voting members appointed by the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, specifically adding a second representative for outdoor recreationists and a new seat for an organization that manages recreational access to the North Maine Woods. Additionally, the legislation creates five nonvoting positions for representatives from state agencies, including two from the Bureau of Warden Service, one from the Department of Economic and Community Development, and two from the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.
