COMMENDATIONS: Commends Austin Small-Jones of Shreveport's Woodlawn High School on being named National Jobs for America's Graduates Career Association president-elect

This resolution commends Austin Small-Jones, a senior at Woodlawn High School in Shreveport, for being elected president-elect of the National Jobs for America's Graduates Career Association. It highlights his historic achievement as the first male, Black male, and student from Louisiana to hold this national leadership position, where he will oversee affiliates across the country. The document also notes his receipt of a full scholarship to Grambling State University through a mentorship program designed to recruit African American male educators. Ultimately, the measure serves as a formal recognition of his accomplishments rather than establishing new laws or policies.
