WEAPONS/FIREARMS: Provides an exception to the crime of illegal carrying of weapons for certain persons

This bill modifies existing laws to allow certified teachers and school administrators to carry concealed handguns on school campuses and buses, provided they hold a valid permit. It creates a specific exception to the general rule that prohibits carrying weapons in schools, which currently applies to all other individuals. The legislation updates state statutes to explicitly include these school staff members in the list of people who can legally carry firearms in educational settings.
