PUBLIC FACILITIES: Provides relative to types of payment accepted at public events at public postsecondary education institutions (EN SEE FISC NOTE SG RV)

This bill requires public postsecondary education institutions to offer cash payment options at their public events. Specifically, schools must either make a good faith effort to provide at least one cash point of sale or offer a reverse ATM that lets attendees convert cash into prepaid cards for use at vendors. The rules apply only to events held by the institution itself and do not cover private events or those organized by private groups.
