AN ACT relating to the identification of lottery winners.
Summary
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 154A to restrict the Kentucky Lottery or Corporation, its board, or its employees from publishing the name or likeness of any winner of a lottery prize that exceeds $7,000,000 who elects to have his or her identifying information withheld from public record for up to one year; amend KRS 61.878 to include the name, address or likeness of a winner of a lottery prize that exceeds $7,000,000 as an exemption from public record if the winner elects to have his or her identifying information withheld.
