AN ACT proposing to amend Sections 117, 118, 119, and 122 of the Constitution of Kentucky relating to the election of appellate judges. Propose to amend Sections 117, 118, 119, and 122 of the Constitution of Kentucky to fill terms of justices of the Supreme Court and judges of the Court of Appeals by appointment by the Governor from a list of three nominees provided by the judicial nominating commission; provide for appointed justices and judges who seek additional terms to stand for elections in their districts; limit individuals to two full terms of office; schedule transitional provisions; submit to the voters for approval or disapproval.
