AN ACT relating to sexual assault against animals. Creates a new section of KRS Chapter 525 to establish the offense of sexual assault against an animal; establish the elements and penalties for the crime; allow additional conditions to be imposed by a court upon conviction; allow a peace officer to seize an animal if there is probable cause to believe sexual assault against an animal has occurred; exempt accepted veterinary medical practices, insemination of animals, and accepted animal husbandry practices.
