AN ACT relating to election districts. Create new sections of KRS Chapter 5 to establish the Legislative Advisory Reapportionment and Redistricting Commission; require six members to be elected, one from each of Kentucky's congressional districts, four members to be appointed, and one member to be the Chief Justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court or the Chief Justice's designee; set terms of office at four years; require the first election to be held at the regular election in 2020; establish powers and duties of the commission; require the commission to develop proposals for the reapportionment and redistricting of state legislative districts, congressional districts, and, when called upon to do so, Supreme Court districts; require the commission to submit its proposals to the General Assembly for consideration.
