AN ACT relating to local governments. Amend Section 13 of 2017 RS HB 3/GA to set forth that a city, county, urban-county government, consolidated local government, charter county, or unified local government has the authority to adopt and enforce an ordinance which sets forth a minimum wage in excess of the state minimum wage; amend KRS 337.275 to require employers to pay the minimum wage set by the state or, if the local government in which the employer is located raises the minimum wage, then pay that minimum wage to her or her employees.
