POLICE TRAINING ACT-ENROLL

Summary
Amends the Illinois Police Training Act. Provides that a person who has previously served as a full-time or part-time police officer in the State may be granted additional time in which to be enrolled and accepted into a Board-approved course and to obtain his or her certificate if it is within 36 months after the initial date of hire as a probationary part-time police officer in the State. Effective immediately.
