DHFS-SAFETY NET HOSPTL PAYMNTS

Summary
Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that a Safety-Net Hospital as defined in the Code that provided more than 15,000 Medicaid acute inpatient days of care in State fiscal year 2011 shall have its Medicaid Percentage Adjustment Payments, as calculated by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services, increased by an amount equal to $220 per day. Effective immediately.
