ELEC CD-PUBLIC CORRUPT CRIME
Summary
Amends the Election Code. Provides that a person convicted of an infamous crime or public corruption crime is prohibited from holding any political office or office of honor, trust, or profit except as provided by the terms of a pardon for the offense or otherwise according to law. Defines "public corruption crime". Amends the Unified Code of Corrections by making a corresponding change. Effective immediately.
